Yerba Mate, a South American energy drink, is processed similarly to tea leaves. The leaves are cut just before reaching full growth, steamed, dried, and allowed to age for intensified flavor. Brewing Guide
- Fill the maté gourd about 3 tbsp full of Yerba Maté leaves.
- Pour a splash of room temperature water onto the maté leaves to protect it from burning.
- Wait 2-4 minutes and then slowly pour hot water (70°C-80°C) into the gourd.
- Drink though the bombilla!
- Don't stir it!
- Once the infusion is finished, refill the gourd with more hot water.
Tip: You can pour the infusion of our Floral Moringa (instead of the hot water) over the green mate leaves to diverse your sensory journeys.
